Writer & Experiential Storyteller
My name is Amy, and I'm a freelance Show Writer and Narrative Designer located in Orlando, FL.
I have written the privilege of writing for immersive experiences and themed entertainment since 2018, when I moved out to Osaka to work as an in-house Show Writer for Universal Studios Japan.
Whether writing the script for a Sailor Moon cinema 4-D, acting as the Creative Lead for several Halloween Horror Nights experiences, or even drafting a design narrative for an immersive restaurant, my time at USJ was invaluable. I worked with a team of dedicated and talented professionals in collaboration with some of the most well-known entertainment companies to bring beloved IPs to life.
After moving back to the United States in 2020, I continued to write scripts and other creative documents for a plethora of location based companies and experiences––including virtual reality, roller coasters, live theatre, mobile games, subscription boxes, themed retail & dining, theme parks, drive thru, zoos, museums, cruise ships, and other innovative attractions and exhibits.
I am always looking for a new and exciting project to help build out the narrative, characters, backstories, and dialogue. Drop me a message if you'd like to collaborate––I look forward to hearing from you!
I am excited to share that I recently collaborated with INTYA as a Show Writer to bring to life an audio-first horror experience for Fort Fun Abentueurland's annual Fort Fear Horrorland event, opening on October 13 of 2023.
